What is M4D?

Hello!

Welcome to Mullets for Darfur, the campaign which combines fashion-forward haircuts with international relief. Or, more accurately, America’s continued disenchantment at the mullet with my desire to raise a few dollars for an exceptionally worthy cause in a (gasp) light-hearted way.

In a nutshell: I want you to donate to CHF International’s Fuel-Efficient Stoves project. If the total in my name gets to $500, you win, and the mullet locks will go (to be cut by the largest donor). More significantly, badly needed funds will go towards an innovative, critical project that provides greater security for Internally Displaced People in camps in Darfur.

Just look at those nasty, fire-tinged mullet locks! “Eww…gross!,” I hear you say, America, shielding your eyes from the sight of my Kentucky Waterfall.

Doesn’t it just make you want to grab a hold of the hair and just…just…cut it all off, as this (clearly) enraged young lady pictured is attempting to do?!

Well, repulsed viewer, hop over to CHF International’s Fuel Efficient Stoves site, make a donation, and once I hit $500, it’ll all go. And, if you happen to donate the largest amount, you’ll be the one to do it!
